New York Legalized Gay Marriage!
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the state’s marriage equality bill hours after it passed, making it the 6th state in the nation to legalize same-sex marriage. The bill cleared the way to legalize same-sex marriage with a 33-to-29 vote, the first time a state legislature with a Republican majority has approved such a bill. 30 Long days still left until Gays can get hitched in The Big Apple.
The Marriage equality bill was signed 42 years after The Stonewall Riots.
